Hi I am so sorry I just saw your comment about quilt as you go on my blog. I thought the setting was set up to email me comments. I guess it is not. I do love hand quilting but sometimes quilt as you go, whether machine or by hand works out well. I do it a few different ways. On the one for Cindy I did it with the strips. That was the first way I learned many years ago on Simply Quilts. I have discovered other ways over the years and use whichever technique fits the look I am after. I did quilt as you go on the Hawaiian I just posted. It is hand appliqued and machine quilted. I didn't use the strips on it. Let me know if you want more information about how I do it either way.
The baby quilt is wonderful and how nice to have twins and a two and half year old...for her. But since I don't have grandbabes yet, I'm really just jealous...
