What I've been up to lately?
This!
I've been knitting mittens! Since the Christmas holidays I have made six pairs of mittens, and I have just started the 7th. Last year I made about eight pairs, that means now I am on a roll :-)
My hand quilting has taken a back seat these last few months, partly due to my obsessive knitting, and partly because I had some health issues this fall. I am all better, thou! I will pick up my Life is Beautiful quilt again in the near future, I promise!
Stay quilting!
beautiful mittens! I wish I could knit such beautiful designs, I'm lucky to knit a scarf simple plain stitch. I too have taken a break from hand quilting for several weeks to let the fingertips heal up good then will get back to it! I have a big quilt to finish up :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is not that hard to do, but you should probably let your fingers heal first...
DeleteThose mittens are superb - I can see they would be a pleasure to knit up too!
